April 10 at 6 pm for Good Friday Service on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/waterdamchurch/
April 12 at 10:30 am for Easter Sunday Service on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/waterdamchurch/
Dear Friends and Family,
In response to COVID-19 and Governor Wolfe’s latest closure and gathering restrictions, Waterdam Church has canceled all services and events until further notice. While religious institutions are excluded from this ban, in an abundance of care and concern for our neighbors, and with the hope of slowing the spread of this virus, Waterdam Church has decided to follow the state’s guidelines. Even though we are not physically together we can still worship our Lord and Savior together in the Spirit. We encourage all of our Waterdam family to look for opportunities to serve one another and reach out to their neighbors.
Each Sunday, we invite you to join us online at 10:30 AM for a service and message. Facebook account is NOT NECESSARY to watch video of Pastor Jack’s Sunday sermons, including PowerPoint slides. Sunday sermons are on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/waterdamchurch/ or on our website at www.waterdam.org/sermons . Video of the sermon including PowerPoint sermon notes is available on Facebook, or audio of the sermon is available on our website. Our website includes audio of prior sermons from the past few years.
Even if you do not have a Facebook account, you can watch the sermon videos either live or later:
- Click on the Facebook link above – this will take you to the Waterdam home page
- On the left side of the screen, Click on ‘Videos’ – this will take you to a screen full of videos
- Click on the video you would like to watch
While all Waterdam Church’s public gatherings are canceled through the week, our church office is open, and our pastoral staff and church secretary will be in the office to continue to care for the needs of our congregation.
Please continue to pray that this situation will cause hearts to open and respond to the Gospel. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the church office.
Serving Christ with you,
Pastor Jack Wilson on Behalf of the Board of Elders

Movie Description: Friends Allyson (Sarah Drew), Sondra (Patricia Heaton) and Izzy (Andrea Logan White) desperately need a short break from parenting duties and want to have a girls night together. However, in order for them to enjoy dressing up, adult conversation and dining on food served on real plates instead of in paper bags, they have to rely on their husbands to watch the children for three hours. Naturally, everything that can go wrong, does, resulting in an unforgettable night for all involved.
