is underway!

Did you know that at 21 days a baby’s heart begins to beat? At 1 month, the baby’s organs and body parts are developing, and at 8 weeks the baby’s brain and nerve endings are formed. The typical client is coming into our clinics around 7-8 weeks pregnant and is considering an abortion. We can show her the life God created through an ultrasound image. This ultrasound image changes her heart from contemplating abortion to choosing life 90% of the time. Please  consider taking home a baby bottle to fill with loose change or dollar bills, and pray for the ministry of Women’s Care Clinic of Pittsburgh, operated by Human CoalitionYour change provides abortion-minded women facing unplanned pregnancies with free ultrasounds and ongoing support to clients throughout their pregnancies. (Please make checks payable to Human Coalition. All proceeds support the local activity in Pittsburgh.)

Please return bottles to Waterdam Church by October 29.

Hurricane Harvey Response

EFCA ReachGlobal Crisis Response is uniquely positioned to bring the hope of Christ following Hurricane Harvey.

For peace and provision for the many families experiencing flooding who attend EFCA churches in the Houston area, as well as friends and neighbors.

For local EFCA recovery and gospel outreach efforts to reach the hurting and the lost.

For effective service and outreach opportunities to the city’s many immigrants and refugees, as Houston is the most racially and ethnically diverse city of the 10 largest U.S. metropolitan areas.

For the Church across the country to mobilize people and resources for a sustained, long-term response.

Given the extent of the damage in Houston, and the surrounding area, the EFCA’s goal is to raise $1 million for response efforts.
