Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic and the societal restrictions put in place to restrict the spread of the virus have caused unprecedented disruption to the economy.  Waterdam Church would like to reflect the love of Jesus Christ by being a resource for help in this time of need.

First, if you are associated with Waterdam Church and are struggling financially as the result of job loss or other circumstances related to the pandemic, please contact the church office or any board member to see how the church might be able to help.

Second, the ministries that Waterdam Church supports on a regular basis have informed us of the difficulties they are experiencing because of social distancing restrictions and the overall state of the economy.  If you are in a position to help these organizations financially with a special gift to help them get through this rough spot, please see the information provided under the headings below.

  • Human Coalition
    - Pittsburgh Womens Clinic Client Needs
    - Response to Virus and Shelter in Place Orders
  • Canonsburg Armory - Youth for Christ
With all that is going on, we have had to close the doors to the Armory Youth Center which means we no longer have any rental revenue...which we use to pay our facility fees: utilities, heat, electricity, insurance, etc. Please pray for the sustainability of the AYC and YFC during this time.  We put our HOPE and TRUST in the Lord and that He will supply ALL our needs!
