Jan and Debbie Gossner

Jan and Debbie served overseas in translation and administration from 1989 to 2013, in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Jan worked in HR for Wycliffe USA from 2014 to 2019. In 2019 they transitioned back to full-time language work, translating the New Testament with the Edolo people of Papau, New Guinea. They started this translation in 1990 and it is 50% complete. The Gossners are now based Montana and plan to make yearly trips to PNG to work on-site with the local Edolo translators. The 2023 Waterdam Church budget supports the Gossners at $150/mo.

Youth For Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their Godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement. Panama - Word of Life

Jon, Bianca and their three boys joined the Word of Life Panama family in 2019, when Jon became the director. One of the highlights of their ministry is summer camp, attracting as many as 1500 young people. Throughout the year the ministry also includes Bible Clubs, drama presentations, and Children's Shows, sports marathons, and other evangelistic outreaches. They also minister with orphanages and indigenous tribes. The 2023 Waterdam Church budget supports the Fowlers at $300/mo.

Washington County - YOUNG LIFE

Young Life’s mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. We go to where kids are to build relationships with them and love them where they are, all with the desire to earn the right to be able to share the gospel with them, not only with words, but our lives as well.  Mackenzie has engaged Canon-MacMillan High School students through coaching cross country and holding Bible studies. Doors are also opening at W&J College. The 2023 Waterdam Church budget supports Mackenzie at $200/mo.

As a member of ReachGlobal’s Berlin City Team, Emily’s heart is to see the city of Berlin, Germany transformed by the gospel in a way that has regional and global impact for Christ. In the areas of next gen ministry, mentoring, discipleship and leadership development, Emily is coming alongside local German leaders to strengthen the Church and engage the next generation of Berliners with the gospel. A is serving in Athens, Greece with EFCA ReachGlobal. The Athens City Team’s Vision is developing an equipped, vibrant Christ-centered Church impacting all of society through the hope and power of the Gospel. A uses her gifts of outreach, mercy, teaching, education, youth, etc. to impact the community she lives and works in.

She and her team introduce students to Jesus, build them in their relationship with Him, and send them into the world to have an impact for Christ!

Canonsburg Hospital Chaplain

Canonsburg Hospital’s Pastoral Care Department offers spiritual support to all patients and their families, as well as to members of the staff. Katie Brandt, chaplain, and her team of Pastoral Care volunteers are available for anyone who would like prayer, a listening ear, or counseling. While firmly relying on Jesus Christ, the chaplain and her volunteers are open to interacting with all faiths. The 2023 Waterdam Church budget supports the chaplain at $100/mo.

The goal of TransformAsia is to unleash the generations in Cambodia, with a goal of throughout all of Asia, to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
